trauma and complex trauma are my area of expertise. I have spent my entire career supporting women, families, and children as they heal from trauma.

feeling safe and close with others again is often one of the hardest parts of healing after trauma.

As humans we crave connection and acceptance. Putting your story together, changing the language you use to describe yourself, and learning to move in your relationships differently is part of the healing process we will walk through together.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is the primary way that I approach healing. However, I also have training in Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR). This is an evidence-based manualized psychotherapy for individuals recovering after a traumatic event. CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-focused CBT are all additional approaches that I incorporate in my work.
